"AMERICAN STYLE WRESTLING" Saturday October 7th 2006 Tipton Sports Academy Tipton, West Midlands On Saturday October 7th 2006, AWE presented their debut show titled 'American Style Wrestling'. The show featured a night of hot action with all the performers going all out and they deservingly received a standing ovation at the end of the evening. Attendance exceeded wildest dreams and it was the birth of the AWE we see today. Main Event Tag Team Action! In the main event of the evening, The Hunter Brothers (Lee and James Hunter) took on the dastardly duo of The Coal Miners in a match that saw the entire AWE locker room erupt in a gigantic brawl at one point in the match up and also featured suicidal planchas from both Hunters to the outside. Hardcore Rules Match. "Star Man" Mark Clarke faced off with Violent NTT & Jon the Yob in a triple threat match. This match saw tables, chairs, trash cans and even sink units used in a violent affair. "Death Row" Shaun Langley w/ Big Richard Action took on fan favourite The Masked Inferno in what was a very enjoyable wrestling showcase. "The Messiah" Brandon Thomas continued his on going fued with "The Dark Angel" Carl Mizzery in a brutal encounter. Dave Daniels w/ Big Richard Action took on Tommy Gunn in a match which proved Big Richard Actions deceitful tactics. Flash Williams faced "The Sensational 1" Jason Fellows in a fantastic opener which featured Williams showing his high flying ability and Fellows showing he would do anything to try and pick up the victory.
